Keepsi is a private, local-first screenshot organizer for iOS and Android, published by Liron Shiryon. Your screenshots are not uploaded to a Keepsi cloud. The app may show a bottom banner ad through Unity LevelPlay.
Short version
Your screenshots never leave your device through Keepsi. Keepsi does not create accounts, does not sync your library to our servers, and does not upload screenshots, thumbnails, OCR text, notes, collection names, search terms, or reminders to us.
Data Keepsi processes on your device
- Screenshots and related photos you allow the app to access
- Small locally generated thumbnails
- On-device text recognition (OCR) and a local search index
- Intents, collections, notes, titles, reminders, and cleanup state
- Optional encrypted metadata backups you export
Screenshots stay in your device photo library. Encryption keys stay in the platform Keychain / Android Keystore.
Advertising
Keepsi shows a bottom banner through Unity LevelPlay mediation (ironSource Ads and Unity Ads). Advertising partners may receive an advertising identifier, approximate location derived from IP, and technical device information to deliver, measure, and improve ads.
On iOS, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt before ads initialize. You can decline tracking and still use Keepsi; ads may still appear, but may be less personalized.
Ad partners do not receive your screenshots, OCR text, notes, collection names, or search terms. Keepsi does not sell your screenshot library.
Network use
Organizing, searching, and reminding work offline. The device may still use the network for:
- Banner ads (LevelPlay / ad networks)
- Opening a link or map after you confirm
- Optional Android OCR language packs you choose to install
- App Store / Google Play updates
- Operating-system photo sync (iCloud Photos / Google Photos), which is separate from Keepsi
Permissions
- Photos / media — find and display screenshots already on the device
- Notifications — reminders and optional local alerts
- Biometrics — optional app lock / private collections
- Tracking (iOS) — optional, for more relevant ads
Sharing and sale
Keepsi does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with ad mediation partners for banner ads only. We do not operate a Keepsi server that stores your library.
Retention and deletion
On-device Keepsi data remains until you delete it, clear Keepsi metadata in the app, or uninstall. Because we do not host your library, there is no Keepsi cloud account to delete.
Children
Keepsi is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
